White Lightning

'White Lightning' is a cooperation between LTJ and Dutch rock singer Stan Verbraak who was the vocalist in the Dutch heavy rock group 'Helloise' and is presently the singer of the band 'Highway Chile.'

Written as a rock song with a standard structure and a length of about three and a half minutes 'White Lightning' features a powerful chorus and a more mellow verse. It kicks off with a small lead part and has two bridges, one after the first verse where we played with the panning in the mix to create a spacious atmosphere and one after the second chorus containing a little solo part.

Stan and LTJ met on line and this is how everything was organised. The vocals were recorded in the studio of Martin Mens, who is also one of the guitarists in the band 'Highway Chile'. Once that was complete the vocal tracks arrived here in London and were mixed into the project. Modern times on line cooperations often do not include physical meetings, certainly not in the era of Corona virus.

LTJ his style is mainly instrumental Prog but it is refreshing for the listener to have a bit of variation now and a while. So this cooperation was very welcome and might have a follow up in the future.
